First screen. Click on the word  Create : You get to the second screen. Click on  Design.   Click on  Photobooks . Select  12" x 12"  (this is the size of the papers in kits). You are ready to begin!   On the left side, choose the way you'll want to place your pictures. I chose 3 pictures side by side:   Double-click on it. You get the following result:   Of course, you'll be able to change them later. But for the first layout, we'll keep them there. We will now open the folder where the kit you want to use is. For this example, I chose my kit St. Patrick's Day. Each parts of the kit are in different folders: Click first on backgrounds gallery icon. Browse to find the folder with the background papers you want to use, select it and select folder. Do the same for embellishments. Do the same for the pictures you want to use. Another way to use a scenic kit, if you are not an expert in extraction is to use a fotoblendz mask. A fotoblendz mask is a mask that is partially transparent. It blends naturally with the background. This is the layout I made this afternoon, using my kit Winter Time and one of my fotoblendz masks :

Many scenic layouts are ugly, because of the bad extraction of the picture or because the orientation of the scenic elements is not correct. It is really important that a scenic designer creates layouts herself and adapt the orientation of each created element. Otherwise, it’s unusable. Moreover, it’s also important to add some elements that can hide a default in the extraction of the picture. In my kits, there is snow and clouds that can help hide a small default. To resume it’s not easy to create but I love to make scenic kits and I hope a lot of you will be convinced. If you are not capable of extracting a person, use a frame or one of my new Fotoblendz Clipping masks. The result will be awesome too. Here is the one I made this morning with my kit Cold November, using one of the frames . In this case, you create the landscape, place the frame with the picture and then add some more elements in front of the frame to give the depth to the layout.

November 24-30, this is my daily downloads week I really hope you'll enjoy it.  This time it's a scenic kit, SNOWY DAY. I know some of you are not used to scenic kits BUT, I assure you that my scenic kits are really easy to use. I test every elements to be sure it's easy to place in the landscape and in the right position (you can see it on the preview) ! I would really like to give you  a boost in your creations . For example, if you cannot easily cut off a person to place her or him in the landscape, you can use a frame that you drop on the ground. When you'll have discovered how  it's easy to create scenic landscapes with my kits , you'll fall in love with all of them. I assure you that I did not like scenic layouts either, until I began to create my kits. And I agree with you that some scenic layouts I see on Facebook are very bad.
